The RC34GW uses bi-metallic washers of
copper and steel. Both are tin plated. Placing the ground wire between these
washers effectively isolates the ground wire from the galvanized clamp body.
This virtually eliminates bi-metallic corrosion, greatly extending the life and
performance of the clamp.
